THEN AND NOW

You are probably wondering why the house pictures. Although it is a little late, I took these at Park City. I spent a lot of time walking around the old historic district. These little houses were all built around the early 1900's when Park City was a mining town. Many have been restored and I thought they were very cute.

The Kelley's are here. Macey is quite a character. Here she has a cucumber in one hand and a piece of watermelon in the other. She gets around very quickly and finds plenty to get in to. She is such a good baby and lots of fun.

Loraya loved getting out every morning for a walk in our back yard. Isaac joined us occasionally but wasn't quite so enthused. Loraya liked looking for little lizards and a few times were we lucky and spotted the rabbits.
Just hanging around! It's lots of fun having company.

FUN FOR

This has been a fun week. Brian and I picked up Kennedy last Thursday. That evening Kennedy was my partner at the Tuacahn Theatre production of Cats. It was a lot of fun and we both enjoyed the production.

A couple of cats out on the town!

The first few nights in California the girls slept outside in a tent.

Saturday morning we headed for the Oceanside 4th of July parade. We all agreed it was a pretty lame parade. It was mostly cars--no floats, only a couple of bands--not too exciting.

The best part of the parade was the Marine band, and it was at the start of the parade.

At least the girls were ready to celebrate. We went to a two different fireworks shows--one on Saturday night and one on Sunday night.

Saturday afternoon was the only time the sun came out all week. We were lucky to get in a trip to the beach.

We had a fun day at SeaWorld.

A great time was had by all. It was probably good it was overcast. We certainly didn't suffer from the heat. The temperature was in the mid-60's all week. But we came home on Friday to 100 degree weather here in St. George. Tomorrow we will return Kennedy to her home and head up to Park City for a week. I hope all of you are having a good week. We look forward to seeing the Kelley's in a week or so--whenever they get here.

Thanks to the Eberle's for a good time.
